Advaced Ways to Find & Launch Applications On Android Phones

android phone
et’s look at best advanced ways to quickly find and launch apps.
When you’re about to launch an application on an Android phone, probably want to scroll through several screens of tiny icons to find the app you’re looking for. Been an Android user, you have the option to choose the apps you want to put on the home screen. And this is something most iPhone users simply can do, using the built-in method.
How about making it systematically awesome?

Swipe In From the Side of the Screen

When u swipes your finger “inwards” from the right side of the screen.
Swipe Pad pops up grid of icons which are for widgets and applications. As most of us might not know, Swipe Pad is an awesome quick-launch tool made for Android users. The basic version of   Swipe Pad is free, but I advise you purchase more add-ons to increase its capabilities.

Doodle a Part of Its Name

Here is an application by Google and its called Gesture Search .
Gesture Search lets you simply draw out a part of the name for an application, contact person or setting and controls what it indexes. But its not one of the apps that comes built-in with Android.
Gesture Search works amazingly well but works best when you know the name of the app you want to run, and won’t be bothered scrolling through the menus.

Use Of Smart Folders

The above screenshot contains the apps I’ve installed in the last week, and it’s automatically updated.. It also shows apps you didn’t use for a while. As you install every app on your phone, it categorizes the app into the automatic categories:
For each category, you can create a shortcut on your home screen for easy access. Assume you set a shortcut on the home screen containing all your games, then you can access all the games with just a single tap on the shortcut. Checkout Auto App Organizer!
