How To Format Nokia Symbian Phones

If it happens that the C: drive of your mobile phone is corrupted and you want to format it, here are the methods.

1. On the normal screen of your phone press *#7780# (Restores the C: drive preserving user data), you will be prompt to restart your phone. Select yes and in 3 minutes your phone is formatted.

2. On the normal screen of your phone press *#7370# (completely reformats the C: drive; as well as clearing all files stored in it).

You will be prompt to restart your phone, select yes and in 3 minutes your phone formatted.

3. In this method make sure your phone is fully charged and backup your files. Press and hold these keys together.

• Sharp Key (#),
• One Key (1)

Press the power key to switch on the phone, keep holding the three keys until you see "formatting" on your screen.
